Caves with management committees or controlled by clubs or individuals
A number of caves are kept locked for various reasons including the conservation of their geology and protected species such as bats which may be present at various times of the year. Follow the cave management or club contacts in the site list below. In a few cases in the Forest of Dean, an individual controls access. Some caves have a leader system where either you approach a leader from a published list or the cave management committee will find a leader to help you.

Ogof y Ci
Access to Ogof y Ci has for the time being been withdrawn by the landowner due to local issues. Cavers are asked not to visit this cave until these are better understood and have been resolved.
