Latest on Darren y Dimbaeth SSSi from NRW:
NRW will not be supporting climbing at the site due to the SSSi damage and difficulty in separating those areas more suitable compared to those less suitable.
SC Land Management (LM) will therefore not be conducting Tree Safety inspections as we no longer will be sanctioning access with a permissive agreement.

The BMC were recently informed by a third party that Police visited the site (June 2020) and requested climbers not to climb here but BMC have had no formal approach from either Natural Resources Wales or any other persons. Be advised that access could be sensitive at this site.

- 2. In these byelaws:-

"lands of the Commissioners" means lands which are under the management or control of the Commissioners and to which the public have, or may be permitted to have, access;

Application
- 3.- (1) Byelaws 5, 6 and 7 shall apply to all lands of the Commissioners except that byelaw 5(xi) shall not apply to the New Forest or to the Forest of Dean.
[…]
(3) Nothing in these byelaws shall make unlawful anything done with the written authority of the Commissioners.

Acts prohibited on the lands of the Commissioners
- 5. No person shall in or on the lands of the Commissioners:-
(i) enter any area on or near which there is displayed by the Commissioners a notice prohibiting entry thereon;
