Ring ouzels nest on Stanage, Burbage and Bamford each year. The nest sites change quickly and frequently as ring ouzels often have several broods each year with different nest sites for each brood. On site signage will be up around any nest sites where climbing may impact on the birds and this is always up to date and accurate.

Wild camping
There is no provision under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act for camping on open access land. You may also be trespassing if you do not have permission from the landowner and in some circumstances the use of land for camping will need planning permission.
We do not allow wild camping on any land that we own and would encourage use of authorised campsites.
