  GENERAL PROHIBITION.

  1. 2. During such time as notice is given by the hoisting and display of signals in the manner hereinafter provided in Bye-law No. 4 either that Classification Firing is being carried out on the Classification Range or that Field, Mortar, Anti-Tank, Anti-Aircraft and Machine Gun Firing are being carried out on the Ranges constituting and hereinafter called the Combined Range all intrusion on the land or any part thereof affected by the said Notice (hereinafter called “the land area”) and the foreshore and sea abutting thereon (hereinafter called “the sea area”) within the limits set out in the Schedule hereto, of the range on which firing is taking place and all obstruction of the use thereof is prohibited.

  OFFENCES DURING FIRING.

  1. 3. While notice that firing is taking place over the Ranges mentioned in Bye-law No. 2 is given by the hoisting and display of signals as provided in Bye-law No. 4, then :—

  (i) No person shall enter or remain in the land area or sea area, nor bring, take, nor suffer to remain therein any vehicle, animal, vessel, aircraft or thing, except as provided in Bye-law No. 8.

  SIGNALS.

  1. 4. A. By Day—

  (1) Notice that classification firing is taking place on the Classification Range will be given by the hoisting and display of Red Flags on the Flagstaffs Nos. 2 to 5 shown on the plan attached hereto.

  (2) Notice that Field, Mortar, Anti-Tank, Anti-Aircraft and Machine Gun firing is taking place on the Combined Range will be given by the hoisting and display of Red Flags and chequered black and white Pennants on Flagstaffs Nos. 1 to 5 shown on the plan attached hereto.

  TIMES OF FIRING.

  (6) Firing on these Ranges may take place at any time throughout the year.
